Dedicated to the working and praying hands of our Geechee ancestors who worked textiles and cultivated indigo on the southern coast, Geechee Coded is an homage to the mages on our grandmother's church tote bags.

My good sis Nyk at Nite, a talented Afro-Latina illustrator based in PA, illustrated this design.
